A guide service by Kenco, provide kayaks, equipment and snacks for small groups. We coach you in places novice paddlers can enjoy without difficulty. Come see wildlife, lighthouses and other places or historic maritime interest.

RONDOUT TOUR

Rondout Light is a short paddle directly west of Rhinecliff, marking the entrance to the Rondout Creek. The creek is lined with rich history, from skeletons of barges from the 1800's to the still active historic Rondout Port. Just north of the Rondout Lighthouse is an estuary- where sightings of native birds is common. An attractive day tour for NYC residents with our launch site adjacent to the Rhinecliff RR station. Arrive via Amtrack, enjoy a kayak tour, dine at one of our fine local restaurants and return to the city the same day.

TIVOLI TOUR

After launching in Tivoli, the tour will head south to Magdalen Island, and into Tivoli Bays. With its two large bays and river islands, this is one of the most biologically productive places on earth, providing food and shelter for hundreds of species of fish and animals. To the north on the west shore is the Saugerties Lighthouse marking the entrance to the Esopus Creek.
